Mike Royko`s suggestion that we change the design of the flag and
”replace the stars with dollars signs and make the stripes jail-house gray” brings to mind an idea I`ve had for a long time that is especially pertinent in light of the S&L debacle.
To bring things a little more in line with the reality of what this nation has come to stand for, why don`t we change the motto on our currency to read ”In Greed We Trust”?
