Recently I spoke with a patient at the dental school in Alton. This patient had gone from Springfield to the dental school in Alton to have a procedure done by dental students. The 188-mile round-trip was made in a taxi, paid for by the taxpaying people of Illinois through a program called Med-Cab. Following in the grand tradition of Illinois politicians are two gubernatorial candidates who want to continue taking the people of Illinois for a ride. I`m getting carsick myself.
