A USAir F-100 airliner with 67 passengers aboard landed at Midway airport Wednesday morning without incident after a failure in its number one hydraulic system. The flight, which originated in Pittsburgh, had to be towed from the end of the runway to the arrival gate, said USAir spokeswoman Patricia Goldman. Chicago Fire Department crash equipment stood by but was not needed. The backup hydraulic system which handles the flight controls was used to make a perfect landing, Goldman said.
