Geneva school board members plan to announce their decision Monday on a controversial proposal to bus kindergartners to the local high school.
The plan, initially proposed by district officials as a means to ease projected overcrowding at the city`s three elementary schools, met with a storm of protest from parents who preferred that the kindergartners attend the neighborhood schools.
Supt. John Murphy said he expects that board members will announce a decision on the issue at a meeting that begins at 7:30 p.m. in the
instructional materials center at Geneva Community High School, 415 Logan Ave.
