Sabena kills venture: Belgian state airline Sabena said it was dropping a joint venture with British Airways and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines due to antitrust conflicts with European Community regulations. But it emphasized in a statement that it would continue to seek a partner to help finance a major expansion plan. Spokesmen for KLM and British Air did not rule out future cooperation with Sabena, which wants to develop a hub-and-spoke operation linking Brussels` Zaventem airport with dozens of European destinations.
