A Countryside man was arrested and charged with retail theft after he reportedly tried to get a cash refund for items he never purchased, Downers Grove police said.
Tim A. Krajack, 32, of 9800 W. Joliet Rd., reportedly put a vacuum cleaner and a pair of athletic shoes into a bag and brought them to the customer service desk for an $88.03 refund, police said.
