Bank may slash dividend: Manufacturers Hanover Corp. may cut its next quarterly dividend to 47 cents from the current rate of 82 cents. ”The current hostile operating environment for our industry makes it prudent that we build upon” the company`s capital base, the banking firm said in a statement. The latest 82-cent dividend will be paid Jan. 25.
