Overriding the objections of three county agencies, the McHenry County Board has approved a zoning change that would allow a Wisconsin company to build a heavy equipment storage facility on what is now prime farm land off Illinois Highway 31 in McHenry Township.
The county`s professional planning staff, the Planning Commission and the Soil and Water Conservation District had all objected to the plans by Mann Bros. Inc.
