His parents are Tom and Gertrude Arndt of Downers Grove. His father, now retired, had been president of Litho Strip, a coil coating company. His mother is a member of the William Ferris Choral Group and the Downers Grove Oratorical Society.
After a wedding trip to Acapulco, the newlyweds live in Chicago.
