T-note yields fall Yields on five-year Treasury notes fell in Thursday`s auction to the lowest level in two months. The average yield was 7.70 percent, down from 7.81 percent at the last auction March 27. It was the lowest rate since five-year notes averaged 7.51 percent on Feb. 21. A total of $9.06 billion in notes were sold out of a record total of bids of $32.50 billion.
