A book review in the April 21 Business section incorrectly reported that coins increased by 50 percent in value during 1990. In fact, that growth in value occurred in 1989, and only for investor-grade coins, according to the Coin World Trends Index. Generally, coins appreciated 12.83 percent in value that year. In 1990, the value of investor-grade coins fell 20.3 percent, while the values of coins generally fell 3.6 percent.
Due to an excess of batter in the recipe, it was difficult to reproduce the blueberry morning cake presented in the April 14 issue of the Chicago Tribune Magazine. A corrected version of the recipe appears on page 2 of the Home section today.
The designer of a table was incorrectly identified in the April 21 Home section. The creator of the ballerina table is Gary Wojcik.
The Tribune regrets the errors.
