Illinois Benedictine College has given its College Life award to college trustee Arthur Andersen.
Andersen of Barrington has been an Illinois Benedictine trustee for 13 years. He is chairman of the Arthur Andersen and Co. accounting firm.
The award honors commitment to hospitality, stability and work, which are values of the Benedictine order.
Andersen was chairman of the Leadership Committee of the $24.1 million fundraising drive and was chairman of the board of trustees from 1989 to 1990.
