Favorite childhood memory: When my father came back from World War II, he pinned a medal on me while I was in the ROTC in high school.

I`ve never been able to: Play the piano. Since my mother was a concert pianist, it`s been a great regret of mine.
I`d give anything to have met: Albert Einstein. I can`t understand how anybody could be that brilliant.
A really great evening to me is: Sitting in front of a fireplace with my wife and having some champagne and caviar.
My fantasy is: It`s the top of the ninth inning in the seventh game of the World Series, the Cubs are behind by three runs and I hit a grand-slam home run.
The worst part of being an actor is: The hours. I`m up at 4:30 or 5. I start work at 6 and sometimes work until 10 p.m.
I trid to teach my children: To respect other people and their beliefs, even if you don`t agree with them.
The one thing I can`t stand is: Anyone losing his temper.
If I could change two things about myself, I`d be: 30 pounds thinner, and I wouldn`t smoke.
People who knew me in high school thought I was: Cute.
My most irrational act: Once on Halloween, I threw an egg into a bus.
I knew I was a grownup when: My voice changed. I was 17 and in the Navy.
The best time in my life: Meeting my wife, 11 years ago.
The worst time in my life: Losing my first wife.
Major accomplishment: I`m still working as an actor after 44 years.
My most humbling experience: Meeting Eleanor Roosevelt.
