The City Council has voted 11-1 to pay $3,000 dues to the Du Page County Children`s Sexual Abuse Center.
The center, started by State`s Atty. James E. Ryan, is partly financed by municipalities at rates of $2,000 to $3,000, depnding on population.
Ald. Edward J. Moran (7th) voted against paying dues, saying that the center was laudable but that the state`s attorney`s office should pay for the entire operation.
