Federal prosecutors dropped racketeering charges Monday against one of 13 El Rukn ”ambassadors” on trial in federal court.
Louis Lomas was charged with shooting up a Milwaukee tavern of Henry Harris` parents in 1987 to warn Harris, a former Rukn ”general,” against cooperating with the government.
But prosecutors dismissed racketeering charges based on the shooting after a government witness last week didn`t identify Lomas as the shooter, according to Lomas` lawyer, Charles Aron. Lomas, however, is still charged with racketeering conspiracy and drug conspiracy.
