Toro Co. signed a letter of intent to purchase the assets of the turf-products line of Olathe Manufacturing Inc., a privately held company based in Olathe, Kan. Although terms weren`t disclosed, Minneapolis-based Toro said the transaction isn`t expected to reduce earnings for the fiscal year ending July 31.
