It`s too bad one can never know how much a plane ticket actually costs by just looking at the prices in the newspaper ads.

You can never buy a ticket for $99 or $79 or whatever. First you must schedule your trip to include a Saturday. Then there might be a fuel extra charge, landing charge, etc., etc.

Most of the time if you do try for a super-saver ticket they are evidently all gone five minutes before you call. If you want the same coach ticket, it is now $480 not $99 as advertised.

The Lord help you if you try to change or cancel a non-cancellable ticket because your spouse suddenly died or some other equally silly reason.

I`m going to start an airline called H.A.A. (Honest Abe Airlines). I`ll print exact costs for tickets. Price will be firm whether you`re white, black, Hispanic, a Cub fan or a Sox fan, or you want to go Monday and come home when your money runs out. I`ll bet all other airlines will follow.

What ever happened to honesty in advertising?
