A South Side man, related by marriage to the late reputed drug kingpin Flukey Stokes, was ordered held on $150,000 bond Friday for the July 15 fatal shooting of another Stokes relative in a Hyde Park parking lot.
Mitchell Flournoy, 34, of 6641 S. Maryland Ave., appeared before Cook County Circuit Court Judge Robert Bastone, who set Flournoy`s bond for the murder of Gordon Battle, 36, a Stokes nephew.
Flournoy, a hair stylist, and Battle began to argue in the parking lot at 1531 E. Hyde Park Blvd., when Flournoy allegedly shot Battle.
When Battle raised his hands in surrender, Flournoy allegedly fired two more shots into Battle`s chest.
