Elaine Hovland, 76, a retired registered nurse in Chicago, died Wednesday in Clearwater, Fla. Mrs. Hovland was born in Appleton, Wis., and lived in Chicago for 53 years. She later moved to Clearwater. Mrs. Hovland is survived by three sons, Richard, John and Thomas; a daughter, Christine; and three grandchildren. Services were held Saturday in Clearwater.
