The Village Board has consented to preliminary plans for 86 single-family homes in a subdivision on Quentin Road between Poplar Street and Dundee Road. The development, to be called Lakeside Estates, will be built on 38 acres of land that is scheduled to be annexed to the northern end of the village.
If the developers, Barrington-based Dior Builders Inc., receive final approval of engineering plans from the village, they plan to begin
construction this fall. The homes would range in price from $269,000 to $500,000 and surround an artificial pond in the center of the subdivision.
