The operating hours of the Glen Ellyn Recycling Center have been reduced by the village. Effective this Saturday, the center will be open from 9 a.m. until noon. Previously, the center was open from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
According to officials, there has been an 85 percent reduction in usage of the center since curbside recycling began in the village July 1.
