UNR Industries` second-quarter net income fell 43 percent, to $3.7 million, or 8 cents a share, from $6.6 million, or 15 cents a share, a year earlier. Chicago-based UNR said sales declined to $88 million from $105 million. For the first six months, net income fell to $6.9 million, or 15 cents a share, from $11.5 million, or 25 cents a share, last year. Sales declined to $173 million from $204 million.
