An attendant at a 24-hour gas station at Roselle and Golf Roads in Schaumburg told police she was held up shortly before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday by a man who wore a T-shirt over his head and threatened to kill her if she did not hand over all the station`s cash.
The robber said he had a weapon, but he did not show it during the holdup, said Schaumburg police Sgt. Ron Dutner.
The robber took about $100.
The robber was described as a male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. He wore blue and white striped shorts and a blue and brown striped shirt. His face was hidden by a T-shirt. The suspect had cut eye slots out of the shirt, police said.
