It is unfortunate that Senator William Proxmire is not available to give his Golden Fleece Award to Transportation Secretary Skinner for his $30 million dollar ”smart car” experiment. This is a perfect example of the use of technology for no other reason than it is technically possible.
I believe it would be far better to use taxpayer money for computers in classrooms to increase our children`s computer literacy.
