A coalition of Du Page County communities has called for a meeting with county officials to discuss the county`s new Salt Creek Watershed plan.
Municipal leaders in eight Du Page communities along the creek requested the meeting in an effort to ”continue a regional and positive approach” to the county plan, according to a letter presented to the county`s stormwater committee Tuesday.
Committee members agreed to a question-and-answer session with representatives of Addison, Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Lombard, Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace, Villa Park and Wood Dale.
A meeting was tentatively set for Oct. 30.
