Bolingbrook`s Village Board has transferred $648,000 from the Water and Sewer Fund to finance installation of utilities for the Heritage Creek subdivision.
Under an annexation agreement with Naperville`s Crestview Builders, the village will pay for installation of water and sewer pipes in the 100-acre subdivision along Royce Road near Illinois Highway 53.
The builder will repay the money over five years with tap-on fees as it completes about 200 homes on the property.
Utility work has already begun and could be finished by the end of December.
