Nashville`s Questionnaires mine an eclectic array of rock `n` roll styles on their second album and manage to pull them all off effortlessly. Vocalist and songwriter Tom Littlefield is a wizard with a catchy, if familiar, hook. You like ”Sticky Fingers”-era Rolling Stones? Try ”Killin` Kind.” How
`bout a cross between Boston and Badfinger? See the title song. A sucker for early `80s Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers? Give ”Tell Me Lies” a listen. The bluesy, acoustic ”Georgia Rain” and the powerful ”Easier Said Than Done” show more of an original sound, but originality isn`t necessarily a prerequisite for a great rock `n` roll record. And that`s what ”Anything Can Happen” is.
