A body found in a small creek at the Ridgemoor Country Club near Harwood Heights was identified Tuesday as that of a Chicago man who had been missing three weeks.
Family members had reported Stanley Toczek, 39, as missing to police on Dec. 17, said Gretchen Reichard, a spokeswoman for the Cook County Sheriff`s Department.
Reichard said it did not appear that Toczek had met with foul play. ”He was epileptic, and that might have contributed to his death,” she said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner`s office conducted an autopsy Tuesday morning, and results should be known by Wednesday, Reichard said.
