My wife and I recently took a walk along a country road in our area of Kane County. Many large flocks of geese descended noisily on the farm fields we were passing.

We remarked, as we often do lately, at the very large number of geese that have been in our area for weeks now. We have been quite puzzled by this for some time.

I couldn`t believe the timeliness of John Husar`s column on ”perplexed geese.” Minutes after we had been wondering about the birds, I opened the paper and Husar answered many of our questions.

I love to fish, and hunting is becoming of interest to me. Mostly, I love being outdoors among the wildlife. John Husar exhibits the same love of the outdoors and wildlife that so many of us have.

I understand there has been some controversy concerning Husar`s column lately. Keep the column. Please.
