Sylvia Pohl, 63, who lived in the Chicago area until moving to Ames, Iowa, in 1987, died Wednesday in Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Mrs. Pohl was the office manager of Overhead Door Co. in Elk Grove Village from 1967 until 1987. Surivors include three daughters, Christine Lowell, Patricia Long and Susan Trevillyan; two sisters; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday in Ames.
