A Canadian woman was convicted of indecent exposure and fined the equivalent of $64 for walking topless in public. Gwen Jacob, a 20-year-old women`s studies student at the University of Guelph, in the province of Ontario, argued that under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, she had as much right as a man to go shirtless in the incident last July.
