Barbara Giryotas, 54, a Loop attorney, died Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. Mrs. Giryotas of Glen Ellyn was a partner for 12 years with the law firm Rosenthal and Schanfield. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Stanley; a daughter, Elizabeth Merriott; a son, Michael; two grandchildren; her parents, Beatrice and Irving Garney; and a brother. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday in St. James the Apostle Church, 480 S. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
