– Westinghouse 77, Farragut 76-There were six lead changes in the last minute of this crucial struggle that gave Westinghouse (22-3, 10-2) a share of first place in the Red-West with idle Marshall:
Victor Hardges hit a free throw to give Farragut a 72-71 lead with :45 left. Kiwane Garris (19 points) hit a layup with :30 left as Westinghouse gained a 73-72 edge. Farragut went up again 74-73 when Curtis Ganes hit a layup with :25 left. Kareem Cobbins hit two free throws with :15 left to put Westinghouse back on top 75-74. Monte O`Quinn scored with :12 left to give Farragut a 76-75 lead. David Greer sank a layup with :03 left to give Westinghouse its final advantage.
Greer finished with 31 points, 14 in the fourth quarter when Westinghouse outscored Farragut 25-19 to rally from a 57-52 third-quarter deficit. Twon Jones had 19 points and O`Quinn, Ganes and Arvy Arter 16 apiece for Farragut
(18-7, 8-4).
”Before the game, I told the kids in order for us to win, we had to hit our free throws and rebound,” said Westinghouse coach Roy Condotti. ”We got the last free throw, the last rebound and we were fortunate to get the last basket.”
– Providence 56, Marist 49-Mike Rieves (15 points) and Charlie Jones (13) led the way as Providence (16-8) upset No. 9 Marist (21-4), which got 14 from Kyle White.
– Near North 79, Cregier 32-Vernard Rule (18 points, 14 rebounds) and Marlon Minifee (17 points, 14 rebounds) led the way for Near North (17-10, 7-5 in the Blue-West).
– Lincoln Park 90, Flower 74-Lamont Duffy had 28 points and Randall Scott 21 as Lincoln Park (23-2, 12-0) finished unbeaten in the Blue-West. Jermaine Jackson had 19 and Darryl Lane 15 for Flower (8-9, 6-6).
– Orr 80, Crane 72-Thomas Allen (18 points), Dwayne Funches (14) and Calvin Galloway (13) paced Orr (18-9, 5-7) in the Red-West. David McNairy had 19 and Ronneal Cooper 16 for Crane (5-17, 1-11).
– Young 79, Collins 65-Jelani Boline had 14 points for Young (14-11, 5-7) in the Red-West. Parish McCullum had 18 and Demetrius Watson 17 for Collins

– Wells 94, Austin 91 (OT)-Dwayne Ford had 21 points and Jamal Cheeks 19 as Wells (9-9, 7-5) prevailed in the Blue-West.
– Maine South 57, St. Viator 48-Maine South (14-10) stayed ahead of St. Viator (9-13) and Rob Brucks (23 points) with 21 from Buell Hudson and 18 by Roy Johnson.
– Mundelein 68, Antioch 62-Mundelein (14-10, 8-7) took the lead in a seesaw North Suburban game when Kyle Kessell (23 points) hit seven free throws. Jeff Haley had 15 points for the losers.
– Stevenson 95, Fenton 52-Chris Coleman led No. 4 Stevenson (23-1, 16-0) to a 44-16 halftime lead. Chris Piggott scored 12 points for the winners. Sam Darwish had 20 for Fenton (8-16).
– St. Rita 54, Evanston 49-Byron Jackson finished with 18 points and Ken Harvey 14 as St. Rita (13-13) outscored host Evanston 23-17 in the fourth quarter. Shanon Washington had 20 for Evanston (11-11).

– St. Benedict regional-St. Benedict (5-19) ousted Luther North 56-46 with Demetrius Preston (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Clifton Martinez (11 points)
leading the way. Matt Harfoot had 18 and Eric Weinmann 14 for Luther North
(4-18). In the nightcap, Quigley Prep (7-18) routed Francis Parker 49-39 behind William Regalado`s 19 points.
– Ridgewood regional-Marcus Overstreet`s 19 put Holy Trinity (7-19) in the driver`s seat in a 56-23 romp over North Shore (6-20).
