A man was charged with throwing a beer bottle through a window of a former girlfriend`s home early Tuesday, police said.
Thomas S. West, 30, of 1119 Mystic Ct., Carol Stream, was charged with criminal damage to property and violating a court order of protection. Police said a woman who lives in the 500 block of Orange Street reported being awakened about 2:30 a.m. when someone threw a beer bottle through her bedroom window. The woman told police she saw West, a former boyfriend, outside her home. West was arrested at his home later in the morning. He was to appear in Kane County Circuit Court on April 3.
