The men`s tennis team (1-5) finally broke into the win column Saturday with a 5-1 triumph at St. Ambrose. The women`s team, after a 20-0 fall season, split its four spring matches, beating Indiana State and St. Mary but losing to Bradley and Marquette.
The baseball team continues to struggle. A double-header split against Western Michigan Saturday brought the Cougars to 4-21.
Men`s basketball coach Rick Pryor announced that he had received letters of intent from Coleco Buie, a 6-foot-4-inch swingman from Champaign Centennial, and Bernard Sheppard, a 6-7 forward from Rich East.
