– A story in the June 4 Tribune about allegations that up to 4,000 Serbs were imprisoned in a railroad tunnel for several days by Muslim and Croatian forces failed to report that United Nations forces, looking into the charges, were told the prisoners had been released.

– A photo caption on the Overnight Page of Friday`s Tribune misidentified the man congratulating award-winner Gary Rieman of the Southern School. The man congratulating Rieman is David Wiercinski, director of development at the school, not Lester Holt.

– A story in the June 5 Chicagoland section reported incorrectly that the Greater State Street Council suggested moving a segment of the proposed trolley system east along State Street. In fact, the council`s proposal would move the north-south leg of the trolley line to a street west of Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive, which are other possible north-south routes.

– A story in the June 4 Business section concerning a bankruptcy declaration by Medcare HMO reported incorrectly that the health maintenance organization covered 43,000 Medicare recipients. It covers 43,000 Medicaid recipients.

– Because of a production error, a story on the Chicago Blues Festival was omitted from some editions of the June 5 Friday section. A schedule of Saturday and Sunday`s Blues Festival performances appears in the ”Saturday showcase” column on the Weekend Chicago page of today`s Tribune.

– The ”Concert Line” column in the same Friday section referred to Paul Wertico as a former drummer with Pat Metheny. Though he plays dates with his own group, Wertico also still performs with Metheny.

– The ”Top Propects” graphic accompanying the ”New on Video” column in the same Friday section indicated that ”Cape Fear” will be released on Thursday. The movie, which is already available on videocassette, will be released on laserdisc on that day.

The Tribune regrets the errors.
