Ford Motor Co. said it is re-calling 896,000 1986-1989 model year cars to replace exhaust system catalysts that may exceed emissions standards. The re- call involves Mustangs, Capris, Thunderbirds, Cougar and Mark VII cars. Ford dealers will replace the part free.
