A recent Tribune article about a state district judge in Houston holding 40 people in her courtroom because no one would own up to whose ”beeper”
went off is outrageous.
I thought we lived in America, where a person is innocent until proven guilty.
If this judge is not removed from the bench for her deed, I certainly hope the next time she is up for re-election the public remembers her actions.
