Adele Sweeney, 85, a lifelong Waukegan resident, died Wednesday in Lake Forest Hospital. She was a laboratory technician at Abbott Laboratories for 50 years. She is survived by a sister, Eve Dixon; two brothers, William Urban and Adam Urban; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in Peterson Funeral Home, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 508 Grand Ave., Waukegan.
