Lake County Sheriff`s detectives are investigating the theft of a pickup truck and some tools from a service station sometime Tuesday or Wednesday. Taken from the parking lot of Ted`s Automotive, 12454 Wadsworth Rd., was a 1989 Ford pickup truck belonging to a Michigan man. An upright tool cabinet with $4,000 worth of tools and an air compressor of unknown value was taken from the garage area, reports said.
