Joan Sheila Doyle, 50, librarian at Transfiguration Catholic School in Wauconda, died Thursday in her home in Wauconda. She was born in Chicago. She is survived by her husband, Kieran M. Doyle; a son, Michael; three daughters, Catherine, Colleen Collis, and Jennifer Verniers; a brother; two sisters; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Monday in Transfiguration Catholic Church, 310 W. Mill St., Wauconda.
THOMAS P. DUNN Thomas P. Dunn, 53, assistant chief engineer for the Chicago Water Department, died Friday in Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Dyer, Ind. Mr. Dunn was a veteran of the Navy and was active in the political campaigns of former Ald. Ed Vrdolyak. Mr. Dunn is survived by his wife, Madeline; his mother, Florence; a sister; and four brothers. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in Annunciata Catholic Church, 11128 Ave. G.
