Your editorial complimenting Ross Perot`s tough attitude toward the federal budget was encouraging. Presidents Reagan and Bush, whom you supported in each election, have shown a callous disregard for fiscal responsibility throughout their terms in office. I was disappointed once again by your glowing endorsement of George Bush in the Illinois primary. The editorial appeared to have been written by Bush`s mother.
Bill Clinton has an economic plan that has earned praise from all sides. With a viable alternative on the Democratic ticket, I hope you will endorse a change at the White House.
