Randy Crawford turns in one of her most consistent works ever with this smooth combination of light jazz and soul. Her warm vocals, along with thoughtful songwriting, are the highlights of her first album in more than two years. Although the techniques of modern music-making are liberally applied, the songs never go over the top or strive for a sound incompatible with Crawford`s style. She and her team know her audience and tastefully provide what they have come to expect.
