Tennis rackets autographed by professional players Monica Seles, Martina Navratilova, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, Zina Garrison and Pam Shriver raised $7,650 at a sports memorabilia auction at the Virginia Slims of Los Angeles tournament at Manhattan Beach, Calif. Fetching the highest amount-more than $3,000-was the frame signed by Navratilova. The money is being donated to the Messiah Baptist Church to help rebuild neighborhoods damaged in riots that followed the Rodney King verdict.
