Eugene S. Malanowski, 65, a 20-year employee of the Department of Aviation of the City of Chicago, died Tuesday in his Garfield Ridge home. He was in the Navy in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two sons, Eugene and John; four daughters, Kathleen Melka, Karen Santilli, Bernadette Gillard and Margaret Johnson; nine grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in Central Funeral Chapel, 6158 S. Central Ave. Mass for Mr. Malanowski will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Symphorosa Catholic Church, 6135 S. Austin Ave.
