Zenith Electronics Corp. unveiled a compact disc-based interactive multimedia player for the new video information system (VIS) format developed by Tandy Corp. Zenith`s VIS player, which doubles as a standard audio compact disc player, connects to any color TV set and home stereo system. It integrates still-pictures, voice, music and moving video images. The VIS player will retail for about $700.
