Jean V. Steadman, 84, a longtime Southwest Side resident, died Wednesday at Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn. Mrs. Steadman was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons, Bernard E. Jr., Donald R., and David; two daughters, Jean Formento and Beverly Prieto; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 4400 W. 83rd St.
