We couldn`t go to the ”OTI Song Festival” Tuesday night at Park West, but one of our correspondents filed this report: ”It was really terrific, a kind of Hispanic `Star Search,` to find the best singer-composer in the Midwest. The audience of 600 cheered wildly and the five judges had a hard time. The winner was Sandra Antongiorgi of Chicago. She`ll go to the national finals later this month in Miami. She`ll do well but the amount of talent was thrilling.”

The event will be broadcast at 9 p.m. Thursday on WCIU-Ch. 26. You should watch.
