It`s unlikely you`ll ever see a ballerina perform without her hair pulled back in a bun.
And you`ll be hard-pressed to find a female dancer from the Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago with anything but the troupe`s now uniform `do: It`s a pixie-ish coif as sleek as the dancers` moves.
Hairstylist Jeff Stiglich, of Carissima of Italy, 2901 N. Clark St., created the wispy style, snipping off a collective 50 inches before the company`s seven dancers performed at the recent Jazz Dance World Congress in Evanston.
”It`s clean, it`s slick and it makes them look like a group,” says Nan Giordano, the troupe`s co-artistic director. She ordered up the cuts after a company member went to Stiglich on her own.
