James P. Dean, 85, a retired representative for Specialty Salesman Magazine and a former traffic area manager for United Airlines, died Sunday in St. Francis Hospital, Blue Island. Mr. Dean spent most of his adult years in New York City. He returned to Chicago four years ago after the death of his wife, Stella. Survivors include a sister, Isabel Barry. Visitation will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Andrew J. McGann Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Cajetan Catholic Church, 112th Street and Artesian Avenue.
